DAY CAMP 2013

CAMP DESCRIPTION: Survivor!
July 29- August 2 at Camp Smith!

Spend your week at camp survivor style! Find your lunch by using a compass, learn to use knives and build fires for outdoor cooking. Archery is back all week for Junior Girl Scouts and up! Get a camp buff and cheer your team on in obstacle challenges! Make S.W.A.P.S to share (50 should be enough, but if you’re super ambitious make 75!) Crafts, songs, games, and friends galore! Overnight for girls going into 5th grade and older in the fall on Thursday night The overnight cost is $10 extra for food and goodies! See you at camp!!
Buddies must be requested by both girls.
Transportation: please carpool when possible since the road is narrow and dusty...we must be sure to drive 5 mph since we cross through private property, thank you.
Fees:
Registered Girl Scouts = $60
Non Girls Scouts = $75
Program Aides = $25
Overnight fee = $10
Cancellation policy = no refunds
Registration is open until till July 1

Volunteer training for adults and PAs is July 28, 2013 at Camp Smith 6:30 pm

DAY CAMP 2012 PRESENTS: THAT GIRLS GOT MOXIE!

Join us August 13-17th for Girl Scouts day camp at Camp Smith!
Camp description: Spend the week at camp celebrating life and amazing girls from the last 100 years! Learn what skills girls had to use in the last century such as, stitching, making butter, weaving, and gardening! For the older girls at camp, outdoor cooking, use knives to whittle and knots to set up a shelter in the trees , wilderness first aid, and crafty skills from The Great Depression! Learn of wonderful women who have made their mark in the world such as Annie Oakley, Beatrix Potter, and Amelia Earhart! Build a tee pee your first day big enough to house your whole unit all week long!

Of course their will be songs, traditions and crafts, camp has never been so exciting!

Unit info:

Girls of ALL AGES can be a camper this year! Girls entering grades K-12!

Overnight: girls entering 5th grade and older have a Thursday night sleep over in the tee pees!

Bring a friend and get $10 off! IF your friend brings a friend she gets $10 off too!

For those who volunteer all week your camper goes to camp for $20.00. Pay in full upfront and get a check back at the end of camp when you’ve completed your week!

TRAIN TO BE A PROGRAM AID AT CAMP!


If you are going into the 7th grade or higher in the fall of 2010, you may train to be a PA at camp!
Learn leadership skills, be a role model, earn volunteer service hours, and HAVE FUN!
We will have more information on where and when training will be soon.
